Yoga Therapy Classes
What is Yoga Therapy?
The focus of a yoga therapy class is to promote good health and support the healing process. Greater emphasis is placed on individual requirements and more time is spent on restorative yoga practices (breath awareness, meditation, pranayama, mudra, yoga nidra and other deep relaxation techniques). Physical yoga postures and sequences are tailored to meet the individual needs and abilities of the participants.
Yoga Therapists have undergone significant additional training beyond an initial yoga teacher qualification. I am a kind and compassionate teacher with 25 years experience and specialist Yoga for Survivors® Yoga Therapy training. For more details about my qualifications see About Luci.
